A beautiful, painterly piece. The geometry shows an eye for the abstract that reads very modern. Yet the piece is old. Diffuse squares meld in a faded subtle color scheme of cream, deep pinks, tan, brown, and charcoal. But the surprise comes in lively green which adds pop and texture. All in low pile but for the high tufts of green. It is an older, somewhat fragile piece with knotted fringe on one end and a frayed edge on the other. It will work best on a wall, where it is particularly stunning, or an area with little foot traffic.
