Boujad Rose Gold
7'11" by 4'2"

2,250.00

Sweet but not saccharine. Fun but far from silly. It has all the color and freedom an informal approach allows. The ends show two entirely different thoughts that reach to meet in the middle and it somehow works. One end is pinks and black, a touch of tomato red, and a fairly uniform lozenge network. The other is bolder and less organized, broken and colliding lozenges with grass green, blue, white, and, most prominently, bright yellow. The yellow floats toward the middle, a good bridge to the pink. Use of black throughout also helps ground a complicated visual story. The piece is faded and worn but never dull. The use of acrylic blend wool in some parts means the brighter colors remain strong. With one robins egg blue and cream stripe on one end leading to a small fringe.
