Talsint Helping Hand

0.00

A saturated palette on a rich rug. The middle panel holds a lozenge network, some filled. They break free on either end, opening to a looser composition, structure maintained with a row of rectangles that hold them. Vibrant not only because of the sense of movement, but also the magenta, burnt orange, black, peach, and celadon color scheme. There are small symbols throughout, hands being the most visible and among the most meaningful. Woven with Berber knots more typical of Middle Atlas rugs that make for a heavy rug in medium pile. Rose fringe on one end that shows some wear.
