A simple and unusual motif with immense charm. It has traditional elements unique to the Beni M’guild rugs. Delicate flowers belie its origin. In hand-spun wool and Berber knots, it is a thick substantial rug suited for the harsh climate of the Middle Atlas. But you can’t ignore the flowers. Against a field that was once magenta and now shows every shade of brown, they are abloom in faded tones. In a borderless composition, they are orderly as garden rows, light against dark, a delicate nod in a serious rug.
