A winter sleeping rug in a summer fruit palette. It is all tightly woven Berber knots in thick medium pile, clearly made for warmth. In three shades of watermelon accented with black. Traditional lozenges create pattern, harlequin on the ends and a more intricate stepped lozenge in the middle panel. The motif shift adds complexity, but keeping the same scale and color story, maintains a visual harmony and the general prettiness of the composition. The front resembles animal print while the back is another piece entirely, with the geometry and contrast more pronounced.
