Twinkling with charm. Repetition turns diamonds, that most common of Berber symbols, into pattern. Broken and chained, they fill the field. Natural black lends drama and the sense of a night sky becomes more than suggestion with a row of stars. In thick Berber knots with symbols sprinkled throughout that show the clear hand and life of the weaver. The short fringe at one end made of warp pulled through indicates it was shortened at one time. It has had a previous life but remains in excellent condition, sparkling.
