Deep color in deep pile. Tightly woven knots of hand-spun wool make for a dense piece that would have provided warmth during mountain winters. The base of the knots show its original vivid violet though the face has faded some with time. The color variations remain vibrant and at times white-tipped, both richly royal and a little punk.
