Better with age. A sophisticated classic sleeping rug worn to low pile and a pastel palette through decades of use. Black double-lined open lozenges hold a universe of jewel-like smaller versions. Once deep red, they are now shades of pink, some so subtle as to look like shadows. Berber knots of creamy local wool that have withstood time to leave a soft rug that maintains a graphic element through contrast and a playful approach to scale. It would have once been longer, its altered end now finished in a short braided fringe.
