While the high pile renders the motif abstract, the back reveals a rug brimming with symbols of protection and fertility. A simple palette prevails, several soft shades of green on a deep magenta. Burnt orange is an unlikely but harmonious accent. The flatweave edges continue the color story and the selvedges show a saw tooth typical of Talsint rugs. A heavy rug of thick lush pile.
