A motif so similar to a quilt it may be mimicking one. The immense work involved in rendering this motif in knotted form takes a moment to sink in. The pinwheel squares fill the face, high pile of violet, sage, orange, and red, all slightly faded with time. Skillfully done with a steady hand in tight Berber knots. This was most certainly woven to be warm bedding, and is thus also a cross-cultural wink.
