Silky wool with a side of fizz. Woven as a blanket, the unique loop pile provided warmth and texture. While the wool is all soft cream for which rugs of the region are renowned, the piece is anything but monochromatic. From the weft, boucherouite pieces of every color pop through. On close inspection you can see lace and floral print. But overall it is simply a wonderful riot, with blues, yellow, and pinks most visible. It is incredibly playful without giving up its elegance.
