Swirling monochrome. It was once a deep magenta and this can still be seen at the knot roots. But it has had the good fortune of aging well. Some abrash and a lot of natural fading has left a palette awash in soft roses. There is lavender and blush and even tangerine but they blend so that the overall effect is of a lush colorwash. High pile forms tufts and lends movement to what is a glamorously pretty piece.
