Ordered and wild, male and female. A constrained traditional motif, with female lozenges flanked by male protective symbols. But it has a vivid color story to tell. It is mostly undyed cream and brown wool and this organic base anchors it, lets the pinks, blue, yellow and, yes, green vibrate. It is a very good example of the more recent addition of neon to Ourika rugs and the green shoots through. It is colorful as can be but harmonious too. Medium pile on a rag ground.
